Get ready for sugar plums, waltzing flowers, and dancing snowflakes. In its 2023-2024 season of dance, Georgia Metro Dance Theatre and show sponsor Johnson & Alday are proud to present our annual production of the captivating classic, The Nutcracker. This family friendly ballet features brilliant sets, costumes, and special effects that spark awe and wonder alongside Tchaikovsky's timeless music. The cast of 135 GMDT dancers will be joined on stage by professional D Patton White in the role of Drosselmeyer, Alex Gonzaga in the role of Snow King, and Raul Peinado as Sugar Plum Cavalier. With six shows over Thanksgiving weekend, GMDT's The Nutcracker is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!
